The intended use of these products is for children (over 3 years of age).

It is therefore foreseeable that the belt clip could come loose and be swallowed (by younger brother or sister).

It was therefore a conscious decision to secure the belt clip so that it cannot come loose.

We understand that this can be confusing as users may try to undo the belt clip to open the battery compartment. However, the battery cover can also be opened with a fixed belt clip.

We have clearly stated this in our user guide.
