There are two versions of the Alecto WS-4700 and WS-4800 weather stations.
The S003648 outdoor unit version 2 is suitable for:
- Alecto WS-4700
- Alecto WS-4800
Important: this outdoor unit only works with WS-4700 and WS-4800 models produced from 11-2021 onwards. This is due to a change in the internal chip. The version 1 outdoor unit is no longer produced and is no longer available.
You can check the production date by looking at the first four digits of the serial number.
Example:
1121C-WS4700-123456
In this example, the production date is 11-2021.
This means the outdoor unit version 2 is compatible with this weather station.
If the first four digits of your serial number show a date before 1121, the version 2 outdoor unit is not compatible with your weather station. Unfortunately, the original version 1 outdoor unit is no longer available.
