If 12V AC or more is not measured across the connections of the DVC-1000, the battery may not be charging properly. 

We advise to use an external 24V AC power supply, this will compensate the voltage loss in the long cables. 

If you do not use a transformer but a DC bell, this will also work. 

With a DC bell, a 24V DC 1A power supply must be used.
